William Lesch (Arizona)
William Lesch began photographing at night in the late '70's, as an extension of his motion and time exposure work. In the mid 80's, he developed a style of color light painting that combined a daylight and a night exposure on the same film. The technique, though time-consuming and unruly, provided Lesch with the element of surprise and discovery he has always sought in his work.

It is the ability of photography to show us something our conscious mind has only dimly sensed that keeps Lesch working and experimenting, from motion studies to aerials, from digital montage to an abiding interest in night photography.

Besides his fine art work, Lesch is also an accomplished architectural and interior photographer based in Tucson, Arizona. His work has been published widely and resides in many museum and corporate collections around the world. www.leschphotography.com
